About Jennie Marie
Maybe you are uncertain about the therapy process because you have never been to a therapist, or your last experience left you doubting that therapy can help. I believe something brought you to this website today. This may be the moment you begin to understand yourself and your life in new ways that will help you grow and heal.
Our therapy practice is focused on individuals, couples, families, and teenagers.
I am committed to helping train therapists to understand their clients and help clients achieve their goals. I help therapists develop a directive, interactive, and collaborative style.
I get excited about helping develop therapists into qualified clinicians to help clients develop a fulfilling and mentally stable life.
I graduated with a Bachelor's in Psychology from Woodbury University and a Master's in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. I have also completed additional training, including Gottman Method Couples Therapy, EFT Couples Method, Reunification Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Training, Cognitive Behavior Training, Solution Focus, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy, EMDR, and Mindfulness Skills.
I enjoy the process of educating and teaching. I have supervised Master’s Psychology students completing their final year of clinical experience since 2018.
I have over 20 years of experience in the field of psychology.
I am the author of two books and dozens of articles. I am a frequent media consultant.
Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy / Ketamine Psychotherapy
I have completed a certification in Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy. I am certified through Integrative Psychiatry Institute in Psychedelic Medicine. Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy can be effective for treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, recovery from substance abuse/dependence, and significantly reduce PTSD symptoms.
Faith-Based Counseling: Christian and other faiths
Faith-based counseling respects clients’ personal beliefs while enhancing their spiritual, emotional, relational, and mental health. Whatever your personal beliefs are in regard to faith, our therapists will respect and honor those beliefs. Therapists approach matters of any faith with respect and without judgment.
Integrating an individual's faith and spiritual beliefs into the therapeutic process can help a client find meaning, hope, and comfort in their faith while working through emotional or mental health challenges.
